Google does this worse with ChromeOS.
- digi_owl 10y agoDon't have a device to test, but i suspect you could always use Firefox for Android on ChromeOS going forward.
- modeless 10y agoYou can install other browsers on Chromebooks through the Play store, through Crouton, or by replacing Chrome OS with any OS you like. People generally don't because if they wanted to run other browsers they probably would have bought a non-Chromebook. But unlike Apple, Google gives you plenty of options.
