I disagree. I think there is real value in preselecting applicants by only posting jobs on a site which have people with a certain interest reading and participating. Posting on a generic job posting site, in my experience, bring in a lot of applicants who are not those that I am looking for. Posting on a site like YC gives a very different type of response.
