There are companies doing far better though. For instance CAT has almost free training courses for their equipment. The only thing they don't pay for is your initial travel to the middle of nowhere. (This isn't sales pitch exposure that similar companies do, this is actual training over 6 months to a year). Nucor Steel also has a tech campus larger than some state universities.
