It doesn't have to be a coincidence. The Saudi education system was infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1980s. If what you say is true then that may be a partial explanation. The Saudi ruling elite / religious scholars are pretty constant in disapproving of terrorism. I'm just trying to make the point that things aren't always as simple as people make them out to be.
- mseebach 10y agoThe fact that Saudi money, very substantial sums of it, find its way to terrorists, terrorist sympathisers and extremist preachers and their mosques and cultural centres is simple. The reason for this, and the mechanism by which it happens, is indeed very complicated.
