- bhouston 10y agoheh. But if he added a randomize button he would be accurate. :)
- bhouston 10y agoReminds me Doc Bailey's spore algorithms: http://www.imagesavant.com/ http://www.imagesavant.com/ http://www.imagesavant.com/genetic1.html http://www.imagesavant.com/genetic1.html http://www.imagesavant.com/index7.html http://www.imagesavant.com/index7.html
- Davidbrcz 10y agoDo you know these images were generated ?
- __alexs 10y agoLooks a lot like https://www.electricsheep.org/ https://www.electricsheep.org/
- calibas 10y agoThey're IFS fractals, I recommend either Apophysis 7x or Chaotica for creating them.
- bhouston 10y agoDoc Bailey had custom software. I had the pleasure of working with it on a bunch of films in combination with some rendering software I wrote. Doc Bailey passed away quite some time ago now though and he never released the source code to my knowledge: https://vvvv.org/blog/richard-doc-bailey-(spore)-passed-away https://vvvv.org/blog/richard-doc-bailey-(spore)-passed-away
- mergesortsalad 10y agoThat is some Inception level craziness there. Thanks for the link
- symmetricsaurus 10y agoPretty neat visualization of the Lorenz attractor [1]. Also worth looking into are strange attractors [2], which are closely related to fractals.
