I doubt this is anything like a startup at all. But, then again, the OP didn't specify whether it has to be a startup or not.

- buro9 16y agoIn that there are considerable shares and a do or die commitment, no it's not. It is a R&D lab after all, failing is perfectly acceptable so long as we can learn from that and apply that to what else we do. Failing isn't going to be terminal, so of course a research entity isn't the same as a startup.
