Actually, this doesn't seem helpful at all. Rarely am I typing the entire program without any autocompletion and intellisense based assists.

Actually, this doesn't seem helpful at all. Rarely am I typing the entire program without any autocompletion and intellisense based assists.
- simias 10y agoThose generally complete identifiers, not the various symbols like "->" "*" "&" "{" etc... So I think the parent's point is still valid. If anything autocompletion increases the symbol-to-letter typing ratio.
- manojlds 10y agoI use snippets, expanders, zen mode etc. Lots of people do too. Typing has never been the issue for programming really.
