Call me naive, but I would imagine that the overseas cash owned by tech giants would be more of a bargaining chip than a reason to lie down and lick trump's boot. After all, couldn't those tech companies make a stronger statement by canceling domestic investment and putting overseas cash into overseas offices, where their legal employees are not illegally detained by Homeland Security? At least it could mean fewer corporate and payroll taxes going to a government they don't support.
