The Numerical Recipes code isn't really meant for HPC, it's for small scale individual researchers.
- gh02t 10y agoYeah, from the ones I've seen they tend more towards avoiding shooting yourself in the foot with numerical issues than performance. Numerical methods are often like cryptography in the sense that there's lots of gotchas that you really need to be an expert to avoid; NR is meant as a shortcut so you can get something that works without needing to consult a PhD in numerical analysis.
