People got to management at some point based on the amount of words that came out of their mouths. The more words the more "visibility" Startups - Anarchy 1. Warm referrals - we value your network because who cares about your product??? 2. "We just got $30 million in series B, you should come work for us you'll be engineer #4, with close to zero equity (sorry we took all the risks already) but you'll get a competitive base-salary! We're backed up by sequoia, etc. Oh... and we're building the next eCommerce t-shirt website!" 3. "Do you want to become my cofounder I have the best idea that will change the world!
