Any feedback welcome and very desired!
- dmix 16y agoWhats with the spammy ads on the blog? Do you get enough traffic for that to make money? I closed the site as soon as I saw that. Edit: I understand it's adsense, I was questioning why put them on a blog, not what links the ad contains.
- kreci 16y agoDo you mean adsense ads...?
- dmix 16y ago..yes, why put adsense on a personal blog? Surely you can't make much money off of it unless you have tons of traffic and it hurts the user experience of the site. I don't use adblock so I have to sift through ads designed to look like your content to find what your trying to write. No thanks.
- kreci 16y agoI am independent developer and do not go to full time job - so every cent is important to me. Sorry if it is a problem that I make free apps and need to make some money for a living...
- tropin 16y agoI also happen to have a personal blog with adsense, with even very low traffic it pays the hosting and the incredibly abusive Net fee. Congratulations if you're rich, sadly most of us don't.
- misiol 16y agoI think he have not much control over what adsense display to you...

- metachris 16y agoAre you using HTTPS for the requests? (It didn't say on the website). Leaking the API key seems quite a risk if that's is all you need to query the database of a wordpress installation. Do you query the database of the installed wordpress or are the stats stored centrally?
- kreci 16y agoI query central database. I have not found before that wordpress.com api support https - but now I see it does (there are no docs for stats). In next version WP Stats will query over https (now it is http). BTW even if someone would get your api key they can do nothing more than check your traffic.
