The best kind of move is when you can keep your old apartment for a while.
You just relocate stuff on a when-needed basis and eventually the old apartment is full of crap you haven't missed once.
Figuring out what to keep and what to give away is an easy problem at that point.
- darkxanthos 16y agoThat's what I do too! Just did it again last month and simultaneously move into a smaller place. I still have some boxes in my car and now that they've sat in my car for a couple weeks and I don't miss them I'm pretty sure I don't care or it may just be sentimental stuff.
- gaius 16y agoMoving via a self-storage locker can work the same way.
