Stale data, unfortunately. I could run for the US federal legislature, with an election day of Nov 8, 2016. Also, no local elective offices in my jurisdiction.

- tptacek 10y agoIt's unlikely your local governments have added or subtracted a lot of positions since the last election, so just look at the 2017 elections on the list.
- YPCrumble 10y agoMost elections are on even years and the 2016 stale data is covering up many elections that happen every two years and should be part of 2018 data.
- Tangurena2 10y agoMany county and local elections are in odd numbered years. Illinois is one example: https://ballotpedia.org/Illinois_elections,_2017 https://ballotpedia.org/Illinois_elections,_2017
- snarf21 10y agoYeah, and it isn't like it is Nov 9 and they didn't have a chance to update the data. It mostly had high level state and federal ones here (I know all of them already). Where are all of the local ones? Great Expectations on my part I guess...
- tptacek 10y agoThis site has extremely dense coverage for my Cook County elections, down to trusteeships I didn't know existed in the suburb I live in.
