  That is the kind of prediction that people will look back on and say "I can't believe the hubris." MYCIN had better diagnostic performance than infectious disease experts by 1979 (https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/article-abstract/366606 https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/article-abstract/36660...) and in the 1980s the question was "How soon will expert systems replace human doctors?" Putting a number like "5 years!" is asking for disappointment.
