Worst case scenario would be giving a false negative, wouldn't it? And that's the danger, not a false positive (though false positives may lead to higher health costs due to increased doctor visits).
- mrob 10y agoRemoving moles isn't risk free. It's minor surgery but it's still surgery, and any surgery carries risk of infection. With increasing prevalence of antibiotic resistance this is a serious concern.
