- davidf18 10y agoWell, that's great! So why does Musk want to build a car tunnel? He should want to build an additional subway tunnel. The city of LA should be encouraging more transport that lessens global warning, not encourage it. As stated previously, much of the electric power in California (and elsewhere) is generated by carbon-based fuels, so electric cars are really adding to global warming.
