Dumb questions from someone who just started learning Python on Tuesday: Modules/_multiprocessing/ is C code. Lib/multiprocessing/ is Python. What does each do? And how does that relate to: from ._multiprocessing import win32, Connection, PipeConnection in Lib/multiprocessing/forking.py#158?

_multiprocessing is C code which is a compiled library which is references in Lib/multiprocessing - essentially, the C code is compiled, but only exposed to/through the python module which is multiprocessing proper.
