What is it used for?
- majewsky 10y agoSome Windows programs use the Internet Explorer API to display local HTML content or to provide an in-app browser. Gecko is used by the part of Wine that provides this API.
- ccozan 10y agoThink of embedded webviews in some applications. On real Windows, you use the activeX webview component, on wine you get gecko. Please correct me if I am wrong.
