If we were to build an app, how portable is this application if we were to self-host it later or move to a similar provider?
- mparis 10y agoOne of the nice things about GraphQL is that it is the same everywhere. This reduces vender lock-in significantly over previous BaaS platforms. We also adhere our API to the relay spec so it will look familiar to most GraphQL users. That is to say that if you grow so large that you want to move to a self hosted solution then we can help you with that. of course you will lose our admin features, integrations, analytics and logic but if you're building it yourself things must be going well and we won't prevent you from growing!
