If you just want to allocate a chunk of memory for random use like you would in C, it can't be guaranteed to be safe. So I would hope you need to jump through hoops.
- AstralStorm 10y agoIt is a rust weakness that it does not have "partial unsafe" that guarantees some things. Makes many kinds of code unnecessarily hard to reason about.
