[I'm a Remainer too]
I don't think Brexit voters will particularly care about Australians or Americans having an easier time of immigrating to the UK. Indians and Chinese people, though... that might push them.
- NetStrikeForce 10y agoUntil they realise that Americans can look Mexican and Australians can look Asian.
- Chris2048 10y agoThe brexit concern is losing low-skill jobs. Implying pure racism is just slander.
- vmateixeira 10y agoRacism is part of our animal nature. Don't pretend it doesn't exist.
- Chris2048 10y agoSome people are racists - but the comment I reply to singles out brexit voters specifically.
- NetStrikeForce 10y agoNo, I'm not; but now that we're at it, let's put it this way: Not all Brexiteers are racist. The majority of racists voted Leave.
- Chris2048 10y agofull context is: >> I don't think Brexit voters will... > Until they realise that Americans can look Mexican and Australians can look Asian. i.e "they" is "Brexit voters", so it looks like you are talking about brexiters, and not the minority of racist brexiters.
- NetStrikeForce 10y agoFair enough, terrible wording from my side.
- ionised 10y agoThey won't care.
- mike-cardwell 10y agoI voted for Brexit. Couldn't care less about immigration either way. But please, tell me more about how Indians and Chinese people migrating to the UK is a problem for me.
- balls187 10y agoI'm an American, but I look Indian.
