Yes, "Netflix Original" can be very misleading. In most cases, it just indicates that Netflix owns exclusive distribution rights to a show in your particular market. They may have had nothing to do with the production of the content.
- dbbk 10y agoThis is right. Designated Survivor is a "Netflix Original" in the UK because it's the only place that shows it.
