Sort of missing the point of emergency preparedness, methinks.
- jessaustin 10y agoFancy houses in California are all earthquake "proofed". It's the law.
- gnopgnip 10y agoMany older homes have not been retrofitted.
- jessaustin 10y agoThe discussion was about "eccentric SV mil/billionaires". All of those dudes have renovations on their fancy houses on a regular basis, and no renovation would be approved without the earthquake work.
