When I worked at a startup, we had a local office and an office on the other coast. To keep communications open we had an iPad facetime 100% of the time with the other office. I feel like this is what remote working is missing, you may not have legs and be able to strut into the lunch room to talk about non-business but at the very least you can some presences improv the "brain-storming" sessions
