Even just looking at the github repos would've revealed what he did. If there's one thing I know, it's that most devs have a distinct style when they code. This is especially true with JS. I'm sure taking a cursory look at "Bryan's" code would have revealed it probably wasn't something he wrote himself since the copy/paste mode would reveal totally different coding styles.
