This is a really creepy article, the level of obsession and stalkerishness exhibited by the superior hero writer is borderline disturbing. How much free time does one have to stalk someone's blog they don't even know and do the internet detective nonsense required to make sure they can talk trash about every aspect of them? So creepy.
- holtalanm 10y agoHow is this creepy at all? The author mentioned that they were meeting with them on a regular basis to teach them coding. I would assume that it is the responsibility of a teacher to keep up with what their student is learning. Not stalkerish or creepy at all; purely professional if you ask me. I think they could have flagged the employer a little earlier though. I would have told my inside source about Bryan's actions before he even landed the job. That kind of shit is just not acceptable.
- throwaway7767 10y agoSomeone they regularly talk to 1-on-1 (with "Bryan" often initiating the interaction) is not "someone they don't even know".
- rootlocus 10y ago> to stalk someone's blog I'm pretty sure that's what most people do to other people's blogs. > the superior hero He was supposed to be a mentor (role agreed to by both parts). Checking on his blog, github and linkedin accounts is not obsessive. If my guitar teacher would regularly check on my progress and provide insights on my public compositions, I would be pretty grateful for wasting his time with a two dime player like me.
