Well, isn't it true?
Nowadays users (and their data) are the means of production and capitalists are using it to their advantage. Libertarian appeal to consumer responsibility is too idyllic. Consumers are mostly not responsible and often misinformed and easy to manipulate.
- titraprutr 10y ago"capitalists are using it to their advantage" yes, this is true but by the same token you can say that socialists use this data to better target users with their socialist agenda. My point is, there is no need for introducing this type of "innocent" remarks because it only creates more hype around the whole capitalism vs. socialism thing.
