Amazon Prime Video just launched in India. While it doesn't have the show quality of Netflix, it is significantly cheaper at a reported Rs. 1000/year (against Netflix' Rs. 600/month or Rs. 7200/year)
They'll have to figure out their pricing if they want to do well in these markets
- GFischer 10y agoThey also launched extremely cheap in South America, but they basically have no content, so they can't compete with Netflix here.
