This really puts the ownership features of Rust in perspective: they are certainly no more involved than what's going on in C++. Harder than Python, yes; excessive compared to Haskell, sure; but here we see what Rust is really comparing itself too. (This is not to say, that it's always what we should be comparing it to.)
