Childcare by grandparents is pretty common outside of the USA, often in places where both parents genuinely need to work
- dsfyu404ed 10y agoIt's also fairly common in the US for "poor" people.
- wutbrodo 10y agoI don't really get why it's not more common for all people: I have a cousin who's probably in the 99th percentile for household income and his mom helps out with his two very young kids a LOT.
