Evolution is part of life, while some bacterias adapt to the antibiotics there are other animals (fungus, bacterias,...) that try to compete with them, and usually they find the ways to kill each other. It is part of evolution, but evolution takes time, and discover this new mechanism also takes time. So by the time we discover a new antibiotic it can be too late for a lot of people.
- majkinetor 10y agoMicroevolution doesn't take that much human time to be honest.
- jorgemf 10y agoBut it doesn't happen as you would want. The bacteria evolves fast but it doesn't mean they will create antibiotics for other bacterias. You have to be in the right place at the right moment. And them wait a lot of years until you can use that antibiotic in the human race.
