- burkaman 10y agoAnonymous source to the Huffington Post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-military-equipment-inauguration_us_58811f4ae4b096b4a23091f7 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-military-equipment...
- plussed_reader 10y agoSo you don't have a real source, just conjecture?
- burkaman 10y agoNo, I'm not a reporter, I don't have any sources. Just trying to help people who don't feel like looking it up themselves.
- anigbrowl 10y agothat story was served anonymously, but correctly predicted 2 days ago that there would be military overflights of teh inauguration parade, confirmed here: http://www.militarytimes.com/articles/military-flyovers-for-inauguration-day http://www.militarytimes.com/articles/military-flyovers-for-... So I think it would be a mistake to dismiss it as pure conjecture considering that it has been partly validated by events. It would be quite easy to file a FOIA request to find out whether there were requests for ground-based hardware. Trump is already on record expressing a desire for military parades: http://www.militarytimes.com/articles/trump-to-hold-military-parades-as-us-forces-grow http://www.militarytimes.com/articles/trump-to-hold-military...
