Google buys Fabric from Twitter
- ChuckMcM 10y agoThis feels a lot like Twitter is sublimating.

- ng12 10y agoThe other article's title is misleading -- the important details are that Twitter owned Fabric and Google owns Firebase.
- sebleon 10y agoUnlikely that we'll see improvements in Fabric services for a while... presumably, engineering resources will be focused on integrating with Firebase :( Anyone recommend alternatives for Crashlytics & Digits?
- scapecast 10y agofor Crashlytics: try Apteligent (formerly Crittercism) (I used to work there). For Digits - take a look at Twilio (more general voice & data APIs) and then absolutely Nexmo, they specialize in phone number authentication.
- zaren678 10y agoAs an alternative for Digits Facebook offers Accountkit (https://developers.facebook.com/products/account-kit https://developers.facebook.com/products/account-kit) which provides phone number and email based login. Full disclosure, I work for Facebook.
