Yesterday I visited AppSee.com
Today I got a personalized email from their account manager :
"Hi [FirstName],
Thank you for your recent interest in Appsee.
Unfortunately, I was unable to contact you earlier to discuss the nature of your inquiry.
Appsee is a powerful visual in-app analytics platform that.... "
What blackmagic are they using?

- rcavezza 10y agoI'm assuming they are using Lead Forensics - I've heard of this solution before. There are a few other competing technologies, but LF is probably the most well known. I think they do IP identification from a large number of network sites. You fill out a form w/ company X and they're sharing data with LeadForensics, now when you visit company Y, if LeadForensics got your IP from company X, they know you visited.

- rootme 10y agodid you fill up any form? or they just get your name/email out of nowhere? are you logged in on LinkedIn all the time?
