What kind of dark magic is this? What's your stack?

- etatoby 10y agoMy guess is that he's using a compiled language such as Rust or Go, with a lightweight non-blocking framework, plus intelligent caching of backend queries, plus a decent backend such as Sphinx or PostgreSQL. Compare with interpreted languages for the frontend and Java monsters as backends (PHP and Lucene anyone?) People forget what modern computers are really capable of, when used properly.
