Just another reminder that no matter how good at something you get, there's almost certainly someone out there who's so much better it'll drop your jaw right to the floor.
Depressing at first, but it's a journey, not a destination. You've always got somewhere new and farther to go.
- eddieroger 10y agoI think it's also good to remember that it works both ways, too, wherein once you've realized that there's someone better than you, there is also someone looking at you wishing they were better. Helps to negate out the bad feelings and keep perspective that - as you correctly said - it's a journey.
