I think I remember the author posting on /r/haskell a bit back about this project. He mentioned that in his editor even the core editor functionality are implemented as extensions (contrary to Yi), so the extension API is quite robust.

> Rasa is putting extensions first from the very beginning, I've read that Yi has plans to extract their renderers into extensions but hasn't been able to easily extract them at this point.
