I can subscribe to this statement. I found that i don't get the same SHA-1 hash of 'test' as he did.
$ echo 'test' | sha1
4e1243bd22c66e76c2ba9eddc1f91394e57f9f83

- Sholmesy 10y agoecho -n 'test' | sha1 will give you the same output as the article by removing the new line. a94a8fe5ccb19ba61c4c0873d391e987982fbbd3
