I'm still finding that the battery on this machine sucks. Opened my MacBook pro this morning and the battery was down to 74% (my Air would be around 95 if left overnight in my bag). I've been at work, unplugged for just a half hour and I'm at 67%. Not running anything intensive, just Outlook and Chrome.
- timemachiner 10y agoI have the tMBP 15". I know there is a lot of hate on HN (easy upvotes), but I get 8-10 hours on mine. I use safari.

- specialist 10y agoI recently cleaned my primary laptop of most all utilities. One in particular, Disk Drill by Clever Files, was impacting performance and reliability. Websites have become resource hogs. Meanwhile, I take extra care to shut unused tabs.
