Usually data centers take hardware for "lease" from other companies which is usually 3-5 years.
- raverbashing 10y agoI wonder what's the lifetime of hardware across leases and how it goes to different companies It seems to be a very different problem to car leasing or plane leasing
- gravypod 10y agoI'd hate to be the guy who rents a hard drive from the wrong guy. It's like getting the car from the guy who heard sugar is good for gas longevity.
