I built https://www.findlectures.com https://www.findlectures.com entirely without having a domain; my experience has been that having a domain too early locks you too much to the concept it references.
- yardie 10y agoBut at the same time not having it soon enough means someone else can swoop in and keep it from you. Domains are cheap. I buy them for $10 before discounts. If the concept changes spend another $10. You'll spend far more than that trying to negotiate it back.
