Tbf if I were a iOS developer by trade, I'd get a dedicate machine for that if necessary. But yeah, developer adoption usually predicts adoption by power users and the remainder of the market share. In a way, non-power users are switching to mobile progressively and using/upgrading/consuming on their PCs less and less.
