I'm working on a new kind of tool on those lines—would appreciate any feedback on whether the format I've designed so far would be useful to you (or others). http://westoncb.com/projects/avd http://westoncb.com/projects/avd (I've been thinking about ways of getting to deal with arbitrary object graphs, but an important requirement was to keep it language-independent, so it just deals with common data structure formats at the moment: lists, trees, tables, graphs, hashmaps, etc. —my thinking is most difficult to debug algos are performing operations on these anyhow.)
