I have a 15" laptop with a 2880x1620 display, which I use at 2x but it is definitely in the awkward zone. I imagine 4K would be just about right.

- benley 10y agoI recently discovered that you can use xrandr to improve things quite nicely. Try something like: xrandr --display eDP-1 --scale 1.25x1.25 If you run into weirdness with your mouse cursor you might also need to run: xrandr --panning <new effective resolution> This is explained better over on the arch wiki in the Gnome section of this page: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HiDPI https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HiDPI
