That's normal in Silicon Valley/San Francisco and NYC. In Seattle, it is normal at the larger tech companies.
- smb06 10y agoAnd Silicon Valley is all of America? There are a LOT more H1Bs hired outside SF/NYC/Seattle than in them. I graduated from Purdue in Indiana. The best of the lot, with 4.0 GPAs, got in the region of $70-75k on H1Bs because $75k is a LOT of money in rural Indiana. Cummins was one of the biggest employers.
