Is it common to accept payment by credit card for such contracts, with a possibility of chargeback at that? Sounds completely crazy to me (not in the US).

Is it common to accept payment by credit card for such contracts, with a possibility of chargeback at that? Sounds completely crazy to me (not in the US).
- ScottBurson 10y agoThat surprises me too. I would expect contract work to be paid for by check or wire transfer. But it's been almost 20 years since I was doing that kind of work. Maybe these days, you have to take credit cards or lose the business.
