Redux's author himself, has explicitly written 'you might not need redux' (https://medium.com/@dan_abramov/you-might-not-need-redux-be46360cf367#.viykznp9x https://medium.com/@dan_abramov/you-might-not-need-redux-be4...), ostensibly to combat Javascript fatigue. Redux companion libraries often include similar notes as well.
