My biggest issue with the cost breakdown is the omission of:
"Cost of redeveloping entire app natively when a cross-platform framework limitation is hit."
This is common for non-native development.
- renesd 10y agoMost often limitations can be worked around with platform specific plugins.
- y_u_no_rust 10y agoHey don't knock it I've made a boatload of money (as it enabled me to literally buy a really boat) because of these decisions. Converting "hybrid" apps to native apps is like the Y2K goldmine of our time but I don't think the non-native approach is always a bad idea but if you're in a space where there is a decent amount competition it can get dicey
