Currently my YubiKey Neo only supports RSA 2048 as it's a hardware limitation of the NXP A700x chip used inside.

- AbacusAvenger 10y agoYubiKey 4 supports 4096-bit RSA. But it's not USB-C.
- ylk 10y agoBut that's what the article is about?... The YubiKey 4C. A YubiKey 4 that supports USB-C.
- tptacek 10y agoWhy? RSA-2048 isn't threatened.
- nickik 10y agoAll yubikey 4 support 4096 for GPG. If you use pgp auth key and gpg-agent for ssh, this is ok. The yubikey also supports PIV. There you still can only use 2048.
