Probably irrelevant, but I'm tired of seeing angled pictures of blurry code that looks like minified javascript on every article about software development from a business-focused source.
Can we get some better stock images?
- zeroer 10y agoThat would require someone on the stock image company's payroll who knows something about code. That costs money. How much are you willing to pay for articles with good stock photos?
- awfgylbcxhrey 10y agoIt accurately represents the target audience's view of software: complex, terse 'code' that wizards understand. It reminds me of when I was reading The Time Traveller's Wife and got to the part where the main character's friend hosted an exhibit of her art, which consisted of paintings of "the HTML source code of computer viruses". I nearly threw the book across the room. But I'm not the target audience. :-)
- acobster 10y agoDefinitely irrelevant. But still definitely annoying. Cheer up, though, sometimes the code is from the WordPress core!
- usmeteora 10y agoThanks for mentioning that aha. So true.
